Note: If your composition notebook has not been reviewed in the past three weeks, you must leave it in the classroom when you leave so it can be reviewed over the weekend. All students whose notebooks are missing will be penalized (class participation) and receive "no homework" slips each day until they are turned in.

Appeteaser: Practice for Number the Stars vocabulary test:

HW: Be sure to revise your Independent Reading Review to improve it for publication. You will only have time to work on final proofreading in class tomorrow.
W (D) Final proofreading; Revised Independent Reading Reviews
1. Appeteaser: Review revising strategies -- add, cut, replace, rearrange, keep. State one change you still need to make to your review in each category in order to improve it for publication. (Return copies of Number the Stars. Penalties and charges apply after Friday.)
2. Work on completing revisions. Finish revising for homework. Your review should be ready to submit for publication.
Reminder: Parent permissions for blogging need to be in before Monday. You will be setting up blogs at that time.
